Our Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the services provided by Snag Pro Scotland. By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Overview

Snag Pro Scotland, provides new home snagging inspections to help identify defects and issues in new properties. We strive to carry out thorough inspections and provide detailed reports to assist you in communicating necessary repairs to your home builder.

Limitation of Liability

While we use our best efforts to identify all flaws in your property, we cannot guarantee a completely flawless inspection. Some issues may be missed due to:

  • Restricted access or visibility
  • Human error
  • Unforeseen or similar circumstances


Snag Pro Scotland accepts no responsibility for any defect or issue that is overlooked, not identified, or misrepresented in the inspection report.

Builder Disputes and Aftercare

We pride ourselves on strong customer service and aftercare. If your builder refuses to correct a defect listed in your report, we are happy to advise you on how to approach the situation. However, this guidance is offered purely as a courtesy.

Important: We are not responsible or liable if your builder refuses to address or fix any reported defects.

Payment and Personal Information

Your payment and personal data may be processed by third-party providers to ensure safe handling and security. Currently, we do not have any online transactions.

For invoiced payments, balance must be paid via BACS or in Cash before the report is delivered. 

Pricing and Time Allocation

Our service fees are fixed and are not dependent on:

  • The number of snagging items identified
  • The duration of the inspection
  • The size or condition of your home


Inspection times can vary based on property size, age, build quality, and other factors. No refund or discount will be issued if the inspection takes less time or identifies fewer snags than expected.

Satisfaction and Refund Policy

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you must inform us before the final report is delivered. We will do our best to address your concerns.

Once the report has been delivered, no refunds will be issued.

Booking Confirmation and Changes

Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of our email confirmation to the email address you provided. This confirmation includes:

Inspection date, Time, Location, and Price

Any changes to your booking must be submitted by email at least 48 hours before your scheduled inspection time.

Deposits, Invoicing, and Payment Terms

If you book with a deposit, the remaining balance will be invoiced and is due before the report can be delivered. Failure to pay your outstanding balance, full or partial will result in no report being generated and supplied.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the inspection are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a £150 fee, regardless of the reason.

Agreement

By booking our service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of our services signifies your understanding and acceptance of all clauses outlined herein.
